Choose movement and coverage.
Wear clothes that allow you to sit, use the controls and move comfortably. Lightweight, breathable trousers and a comfortable top are a useful starting point. Avoid long loose accessories or unsecured fabric that could interfere with equipment. Follow your guide’s instructions about how clothing and protective gear should fit.
Wear closed footwear.
Choose secure, closed shoes appropriate for walking at the base and operating a vehicle. Loose sandals and footwear that can slip off are a poor choice for a driving activity. Dirt-bike riders should discuss the specific riding equipment and footwear requirements with reservations before booking.
Plan for sun, wind and changing temperature.
The desert can feel different from your hotel, especially later in the day. Bring sun protection and consider a light layer for cooler periods. Keep everything secure so it does not distract from driving. If you are unsure about conditions for your date, ask the team before leaving.
Bring fewer valuables.
Keep your phone, keys and essentials secured when you ride. Do not hold a phone while driving or assume a loose pocket will keep an item safe on rough terrain. A photo pause is the right moment to take your camera out, following the guide’s instructions.
Confirm the equipment for your experience.
Buggy guests receive a helmet, goggles and a pre-drive briefing. Quad and KTM equipment requirements are reviewed for the selected ride. If you have a fit question or would like to bring your own appropriate equipment, discuss it in advance rather than relying on an assumption at the meeting point.
