Who can drive and ride?
Buggy drivers must be at least 16. Passengers can be considered from age 3, subject to appropriate seating, restraints and confirmation by the operator. Give us children’s ages before booking. A road driving licence is not required for the guided buggy experience.
KTM 450cc riding is for experienced adults aged 18 or over. Quad suitability and equipment are confirmed with reservations. If there is any uncertainty about a guest’s ability to take part, discuss it before confirming the booking.
How does private self-drive work?
You drive the buggy; your guide leads in a separate vehicle. There is no unguided desert rental. The route, pace and stops depend on the group’s ability and conditions. Following the guide’s instructions is part of participating in the tour.
What is included in the buggy package?
The selected vehicle and driving duration, private guide, briefing, helmet and goggles form the core buggy experience. Water and a photo pause are arranged during the visit; sandboarding depends on route and conditions. Transfers, dinner and special requests are only included when your written quote says so.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable clothing and closed footwear, secure loose items and travel light. Follow the team’s instructions about identification, briefing and paperwork. Check the clothing and packing guide and confirm any specific requirements with reservations.
What happens after I send a request?
The team checks vehicle availability, the date, timing and guest requirements. You receive the proposed arrangements and payment process personally. A form submission does not automatically confirm a reservation or a vehicle allocation.
Responsibility and changing plans.
Off-road damage is not covered by off-road insurance; the driver is responsible for accident, rollover or impact damage under the agreed operating terms. The written confirmation sets out payment and cancellation conditions. Read the tour terms before confirming.
