Who the RS1 suits

The RS1 is the solo option in the buggy collection. There is one seat, occupied by the driver, so it works when the experience you want is independent control of your own machine within a guided tour. A couple or a group can request several RS1 buggies, letting each eligible guest drive rather than sharing a passenger seat. It is also useful when some guests in a larger party specifically want individual vehicles.

A solo buggy within a private guided tour

Choosing an RS1 does not mean setting off alone. Your private guide leads from a separate vehicle, selects the route and sets the pace for the conditions and driver ability. Before leaving the base, you receive a briefing on the controls and the instructions to follow. Tell reservations if this is your first buggy experience, if you have driven in sand before, and whether other members of the party are booking different vehicles.

How much driving time should you choose?

One hour is the shortest listed RS1 driving package and fits a day that also includes other Dubai plans. Ninety minutes gives you a middle option when you want more time driving without choosing the longest session. Two hours makes the buggy experience a larger part of your day. Longer driving time does not guarantee a named route, a particular landmark or a faster pace; those decisions remain with the guide.

When another vehicle is a better fit

The RS1 has no passenger seat. If a guest wants to enjoy the dunes without driving, compare a two-seat RZR or Can-Am instead. A four-seat buggy may be more practical for family members who want to ride together. Guest ages matter as much as headcount: buggy drivers must be at least 16, and passenger suitability must be confirmed for the selected vehicle.

Planning a multi-buggy RS1 outing

For several solo drivers, tell us the total number of machines and whether everyone wants the same duration. The standard total is the listed rate multiplied by the number of RS1 buggies. For example, three one-hour RS1 buggies have a standard vehicle subtotal of AED 2,070. Transfers, special timing and other requested extras are confirmed separately. A request does not reserve the machines until the arrangements are personally confirmed.

Your visit, from meeting point to return

Use the exact meeting pin and requested arrival time supplied by reservations. If you have requested a private hotel transfer, follow the separately confirmed collection instructions. The driving session begins only after the arrival process, briefing and equipment checks. Listen to the guide’s instructions about controls, spacing and how the party will move through the dunes.

A photo pause is arranged where route and conditions allow. At the end of the drive, return with the guide as instructed. Any onward transfer, safari or dinner follows the specific written itinerary. Contact the reservations team before travel if your group details or arrival plan changes.

Included items and the extras to confirm

The core buggy experience includes the selected vehicle and duration, private guiding, a vehicle briefing, helmet and goggles. Water and a photo pause are arranged during the visit; sandboarding depends on route and conditions. Hotel transfers, dinner and special-timing arrangements are included only when they are expressly stated in your written quote.

Understand the operating terms before confirming. There is no off-road insurance covering guest accident, rollover or impact damage to the machine; the driver is responsible under the operating agreement. Normal wear and tear is not charged as accident damage. The written confirmation explains the payment and cancellation arrangements for your booking.
